Donations that we accept

Pasadena United Women in Faith Thrift Store accepts:

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES - anything you can wear we carry; shoes, blouses, shirts, shorts, pants, dresses, swim wear, ties, scarves, children's wear and jewelry.

SMALL FURNITURE such as end tables, coffee tables, small dressers, small tables and chairs, love seats, recliners, accent tables, small armoires.

SMALL APPLIANCES such as dorm refrigerators, microwaves, blender, mixers, coffee makers etc.

DISHWARE, POTS/PANS & UTENSILS - everyday dishes, glasses & cups - drinking, wine, cocktail & cups; cooking utensils & silverware; pots and pans, storage containers, crystals, collectibles

HOME DECOR - pictures & wall decor, vases, nic nacs, rugs, lightly used blinds, decorative pillows, lamps, picture frames, decorative flowers, blow dryers, curling irons & irons

LINENS pillow case, towels, table cloths, sheets, blankets & comforters, dish towels, table runners, placemats, cloth napkins

CRAFTS - fabric and craft items such as glue, knitting needles & hoops, anything crafts

MEDIA & ELECTRONICS Books (adults, teens & children's), LPs, DVDs, CDs, clocks, clock radios, keyboards, Wii, PlayStation, Current Monitors, TVs, DVD Players etc.

MISCELLANEOUS Small tools (power tools) Games, puzzles, golf clubs & balls, pet items, lightly used toys, holiday items

MEDICAL ASSISTED ITEMS such as Wheelchairs, walkers (with or without wheels), walkers with seats, bedside commodes, shower chairs, adjustable canes

This is not a complete list but gives you a good idea of the type of items we accept. To get a better idea, come on by and visit us to see what we offer.

What we do not accept

  • Children's cribs, strollers, high chairs, car seats for safety reasons.
  • No large furniture - large sleeper sofas, large dining tables and chairs for example
  • No stained, ripped, or damaged clothing
  • Broken or damaged products
  • No helmets
  • VHS or Stuffed Animals
  • Large appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and washers / dryers
  • No Beds, Headboards, Mattress or Box Springs or hospital beds
  • No Large Entertainment Centers
  • No Used Sleeping Pillows
  • Unable to accept, life saving devices (heart monitors, assisted breathing devices, CPAPs, etc)
  • No pianos
  • No auto parts
  • Construction or building materials
  • No hazards items such as ammunition and firearms, explosives or flamable products
